Our customers have been asking for Hojicha Powder for a few years, and we finally found one that we are proud to put the Steam’s stamp of approval behind!
This version is organically grown from Haruno town located in Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan.
It’s naturally sweet, with a cozy note of toasty caramel finish, and a rich brown colour. Very low in caffeine, it’s a perfect cup of pick-me-up in late afternoon or early evening.
It can be served as an instant Hojicha by mixing 2g of powder in 8oz of hot water or milk of your choice.
We use this tea to make a Hojicha Latte at the bar, stop in and give it a try!
