A single origin dark tea from Yunnan, China. This Pu-erh has been "cooked" prior to being aged and fermented through wet piling, and then compressed into coins. This tea is meant to be enjoyed after aging. Similar to wine, it continues to mature and develop depth and complexity as it continues to age.
Tasting notes: earthy, leather, woody
This tea is super easy to drink, and is very beginner friendly. It is very easy to brew, and can take a lot of heat and boiling water. You can't "brew it wrong".
Pro tip: have a quick rinse with boiling water to loosen up and open the tea before the official first brew. We recommend starting with 1 min and increasing the brewing time if you want a stronger tea.It doesn't get bitter, so just add hot water if the tea gets too strong. Can be steeped 3+ times.
