A post-fermented tea that’s formed into a coin form, Hei-cha is a type of dark tea (黑茶) that is different from what is called black tea in the West. Hei-Cha has been part of Chinese tea culture for centuries. Processed through a special technique called wet piling, Hei Cha gets sweeter and more depth with age. Compared to Pu-erh, Hei-Cha has a mellower and lighter profile. Rinse first to break and wake up the tea. Steep up to 3 times. Jasmine Green Premium (New!)
$12.00A single origin green tea from Nantou County in Taiwan. The beautiful Jasmine scent was pressed into the green tea by mixing fresh Jasmine flowers with green tea overnight. The flowers then discarded and new fresh Jasmine flowers were added for the 2nd round, 3rd round and so on until the floral sent balanced well with the tea base, averaging 10-12 rounds for this tea. The less the residual flowers present in the finished tea product, the higher the quality of the craftsmanship. In addition to the jasmine floral note, this tea also has the signature fruity sweet finish found in a traditional Taiwanese tea. It is best served on its own to fully enjoy the delicacy of the tea....
